How it works — step by step
- 1Create your Mopawo account
Sign up with your email and confirm it. You'll start as a customer — the courier role is added from your account.
- 2Complete your profile
Before you can claim the courier role, we require your name, phone, and full Canadian address. This lets us prefill your ID verification and payout setup.
- 3Choose 'Become a courier'
From your account page, select Become a courier. If your profile is missing anything, the page will tell you exactly what's needed.
- 4Verify your identity
Upload a photo of your government-issued ID and take a selfie. Verification is required before you can accept deliveries or be paid.
- 5Set up your payout account
Connect a Canadian bank account in your name. Most fields — like your name, address, phone, and email — are prefilled from your profile.
- 6Go online and start delivering
Once approved, open the courier dashboard, go online, and start accepting delivery offers in your area.
Getting paid
Earnings from your completed deliveries are sent to the Canadian bank account you connect during payout setup. Identity verification and payout setup must both be complete before you can receive any payout.
You can see your available balance, delivery history, and upcoming payouts anytime from your courier dashboard.

Do I need my own vehicle?+
Yes. You need a reliable vehicle suitable for the deliveries you plan to accept — this could be a bicycle, scooter, or car depending on your area and the types of orders.
Where can I deliver?+
Anywhere Mopawo operates. Once you're online in the courier dashboard, you'll see delivery offers available in your area.
Can I also sell on Mopawo?+
Yes. You can hold both roles on the same account. From your account page you can add the vendor role at any time.
What documents do I need for verification?+
A government-issued photo ID (like a driver's licence or passport) and a live selfie. Have your ID handy before starting so verification finishes in one sitting.
What if my identity verification fails?+
You'll get a chance to retry. Make sure your photos are clear and well-lit, and that the name on your profile matches your ID exactly.
How do I get support while delivering?+
Use the in-app support and incident tools in the courier dashboard to reach us during a delivery or report a problem.
